Mobile Experience

Most of my traffic is mobile. What changes?

The first screen becomes brutally expensive. On a phone you get a headline and maybe one line before the fold, so the offer has to land in that space. Design mobile first and let desktop be the roomier version, rather than shrinking a desktop layout and hoping it survives.

Next moves

  1. Design the mobile first screen deliberately. Decide what earns those pixels.
  2. Keep primary actions inside thumb reach and comfortably large.
  3. Test on a real phone on real data, not a resized browser window.

Pull the page up on your phone before the call. We'll start where most visitors actually are.
