Audience & Message Fit
How specific should I get about who this is for?
Specific enough that the right person feels caught. Naming the buyer, their situation, and their exact frustration does more persuasive work than any amount of benefit copy. Vagueness is the most expensive habit on most pages, because it costs you the reader who would have said yes.
Next moves
- Name the single buyer this page is for, specifically enough to picture them.
- Write to the problem they'd describe out loud, in their words not yours.
- Let the page repel the wrong fit on purpose. That's a feature.
If you have several audiences, bring them all. Usually the answer is separate pages, not one that hedges.
