Proof & Trust

I don't have testimonials yet. What do I use instead?

Show the thinking. Process, methodology, worked examples, a teardown of someone else's page, your own credentials, the specificity of your questions. Proof is anything that lets a stranger verify competence without trusting you first, and expertise on display does that job before a single client does.

Next moves

  1. Put proof next to the claim it supports, never in a lonely testimonial slab.
  2. Prefer specific and imperfect over glowing and vague.
  3. If you have no clients yet, show the work, the process, or the thinking instead.

Bring what proof you have, even if it feels thin. There's usually more there than people think.
