Design & Visual Craft
How important are images on a landing page?
Important enough that bad ones hurt. Generic stock reads as a company with nothing real to show, and visitors register that instantly even if they can't articulate it. One honest photograph of the actual product, place, or person beats a gallery of smiling strangers in a conference room.
Next moves
- Fix hierarchy before aesthetics. What should the eye hit first, second, third?
- Cut visual noise competing with the call to action.
- Make it look expensive by removing things, not adding them.
