Speed & Performance

Is a slow page really costing me leads?

On paid traffic, yes, and visibly. You're paying for every click that leaves before the page renders, which makes speed a direct multiplier on ad spend. On organic it matters less dramatically but still shapes ranking and patience. Either way it's cheap to fix relative to what it costs.

Next moves

  1. Compress and correctly size every image. This is usually the whole problem.
  2. Audit third-party scripts and delete the ones nobody reads the data from.
  3. Measure on a mid-range phone, not your laptop on office wifi.

If the page is on a builder platform, bring that up on the call. Sometimes the platform is the ceiling.
