Why It Isn't Converting
People visit and leave in seconds. Why?
Fast exits are a first-screen verdict. In roughly three seconds a visitor decides whether the page is about them. If your opening leads with your company, your history, or a clever line that needs decoding, they've already answered no. Lead with their problem in their words and the exits slow down.
Next moves
- Read your first screen out loud. If it doesn't name a specific person and a specific problem, that's the leak.
- Cut every sentence that describes you instead of them.
- Give the page one job. Pages with three goals convert on none of them.
Bring the page and the offer to a call. I'll tell you which of the three it is, usually in the first ten minutes.
